Held over the first two weeks of January every year, Juayua´s festival includes the food fair every day, parades and beauty pageants, games and races and live music, fun-fairs and candy floss; all culminating in one of the grandest festivals on the 15th January. On the 2nd weekend of each festival half of the village centre is closed and 4 stages are set up for a live music fest. A kind of mini-Glastonbury without the mud and the Hari Krishnas.
